Maternity | Moore | San Clemente, CA

Finally starting to post photos from previous 2013 sessions! { Stick around for new posts } Please be aware that there will be many changes this year. Including a new logo :) In my last personal post, I stated that I will not be back to work for awhile. For pretty obvious reasons, I've decided to not start my business back up until late March/early April time frame.

Being a mother comes first, of course

With that being said, here are my own personal maternity photos. The husband and I decided it would be nice to have them done around sunset on a hiking/training trail out by our new home. We are absolutely in love with these photos and how they turned out. And here is my 34 week belly for you:

Fresh 48 | Baby B | Laguna, CA

Honestly, if I could make all my fresh 48 sessions black and white, I would, because the photos just seem that much more amazing. So, when I do end up blogging these kinds of sessions, that is why they are in black and white. I could honestly talk forever about how gorgeous photos get when they aren't in color but ya know, not gonna do that.

Anywho -

This, ladies and gents, is the Forakers.  They are now parents to four amazing kiddos! On February 11, these two were blessed with a new family member. Little baby B was their biggest baby weighing in at 6lbs! Their last three children were all small in size, so this was a shocker for the both of them. This little beauty had the tiniest feet and the chubbiest cheeks. She had gorgeous newborn skin and a wily newborn cry that will just melt your heart.  I honestly fell in love with their daughter so quickly, she made me want to have another kid! Sadly, they are leaving to the other coast very soon. I wish them the very best of luck with their new lovely and new life.

Congrats to these two wonderful people!

Vow Renewal | The Joneses | Oceanside, CA

On November 6, 2004, Claudia and Travis became one. Ten years later, here they are celebrating their ten year anniversary! They decided to have this special event at the Ranch House. Which coincidentally, around the same time last year, is where I did their family photos! We were not able to go inside of the chapel, but we were able to use the area around it. There are many places on Pendleton that are not fully open to the public unless it is booked for an event - and this was one of them.

This chapel is a lot more gorgeous than I could ever imagine! The inside is full of antiques, beautifully stained windows, large old doors, etc. There's just so much historical value! I was completely honored to photograph such an amazing moment in such an amazing place. The ceremony was beautiful. My heart was touched and the words the priest had spoken brought me to tears. So much love and faith in one room, impeccable! I am so very happy for these two and their little ones.

Congrats to them for reaching such a milestone!

Fresh 48 | Baby M | Oceanside, CA

This precious baby finally arrived after 29 hours of labor plus a c-section. This couple, and their family who came to visit, are such sweethearts! I loved being around them and their vivacious energy. Baby M is their first child, and boy are they in for one amazing ride. I wish them the best of luck with this little cutie, Michael Hayden.

Maternity | L + J | Oceanside, CA

Since I'm not really doing my "business" right now (you can read about that here), I have decided to work on my craft and add new photos to my portfolio. Since I can't make my daughter, dog, and husband my models forever, I decided to find those in need of some photos. I found this lovely couple and we ended up doing this maternity shoot three days later!
Lohanna and Jesse are one lovely Marine couple who is due with a baby girl in late July. You can definitely tell how in love they are! I'm so glad that they didn't protest against having their session at sunset because all these photos turned out amazing. I tried out a few new techniques and different poses. This couple was wonderful to work with and I wish them all the luck with their little one!
My favorite of the bunch!
